    Hello I went to Alter Conseil to have our tax situation corrected. The person who received me was very pleasant, attentive, and took the time to explain the procedures clearly. She also indicated that she would handle our case entirely. During our conversation, she spontaneously mentioned that, for this year only, she would apply the same rate as our previous tax advisor. I hadn't asked for anything to that effect. I was therefore very surprised to subsequently receive a bill for €300, roughly double the rate I had been quoted during our appointment. When I requested an explanation by email and then by phone, I unfortunately received no response. So we simply paid the €300, which corresponded to the usual rate. I finally paid the amount this morning, but I remain very ambivalent about my experience with this agency. I would like to clarify that my opinion does not call into question the welcome and professionalism of the person who received me, who was very pleasant. It is primarily the discrepancy between the price quoted verbally and the invoice I received, as well as the lack of response to my requests for clarification, that disappoints me. When using a professional service, clarity regarding pricing and communication seem essential to me. Sincerely,

    If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I know Google reviews sometimes feel biased and I'm usually cautious, but I've been a client of Alter Conseil St-Genis-Pouilly for more than 5 years. As an ex-diplomat transitioning to self-employed status in France I entirely recommend Jérémy Misciali and his team for any accounting services or tax advice. They have helped me resolve complex personal tax declarations, advice on structuring my business in the most tax efficient way possible, and also optimizing tax for income from several rental apartments. Having lived and worked in more than 7 countries, I have never had a better accountant. They are friendly, easy to work with, and extremely honest with high integrity. They also have deep expertise and knowledge of the French tax system but also how it works with tax in other countries. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you are looking for an accountant, this is the team you need to work with. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would.
